Fennel Seeds
Calms digestion, reduces bloating, and supports milk flow. Naturally soothing to the gut, fennel is traditionally used to ease gas and abdominal discomfort after birth, while gently encouraging lactation.
Cumin Seeds
Rekindles digestive fire and supports nutrient absorption. Cumin helps stimulate enzyme activity in the gut, making it easier for the body to break down and absorb nutrients - especially important when digestion is slow or fragile.
Fenugreek Seeds
Supports milk supply, balances blood sugar, and aids hormonal recovery. One of the most widely used herbs in postpartum care, fenugreek contains natural plant compounds that help restore hormonal rhythms and encourage milk production.
Carrom Seeds
Relieves gas, eases cramping, and supports uterine recovery. Carrom seeds is known for its warming, carminative properties - helping reduce postpartum bloating and gently supporting the womb as it heals.

1. Soaking overnight: Softens the seeds and begins releasing their nutrients into the water. This activates their properties and makes them easier to digest.
2. Boiling the next morning: Deepens the extraction - heat pulls out more volatile oils, phytonutrients, and therapeutic compounds than soaking alone. This two-step method (soak + boil) is more potent than a quick tea bag or short steep.
3. In Ayurveda, this mirrors the concept of "samskara" - that the preparation process changes the potency of food and medicine.Boiling also helps to gently heat the body through inner warmth, circulation and digestive fire - most ideal for postpartum period.
